Fenton is a neighbourhood cafe offering casual dining in a way that sustains our farming system and supports our local community. We collaborate with the Carlton Neighborhood Learning Centre to create a closed-loop system connecting local gardens, farms, and the cafe. Fenton cooks food for the community, grown by the community.

Over the years, we’ve experimented with growing fruit and vegetables and raising animals for meat on our farms in Clarkefield and South Gippsland. These experiences taught us farming intricacies and gave us a respect for food production. While we no longer grow everything ourselves, we focus on sourcing locally and enhancing sustainable practices. That said, we still get our hands dirty now and then. We are inspired by the beauty and challenge of using what we grow to create inventive, modern Australian flavours.
